REGISTER TO VOTE
DEADLINE - AUGUST 14TH
The deadline to register to vote in the September 13th Democratic Primary is August 14th. You can register online by clicking here.
REQUEST A MAIL BALLOT
DEADLINE - AUGUST 23RD
Mail ballots are now available for any registered voter. You must complete and return a mail ballot application by August 23rd in order to vote by mail in the September 13th Democratic Primary. If you’d like to request a mail ballot, you can do so by clicking here.
DISAFFILIATE
DEADLINE - AUGUST 15TH
In order to vote in the September 13th Democratic Primary, voters must be registered as Democrat or Unaffiliated. The deadline to disaffiliate is August 15th. If you need to disaffiliate in order to vote in the September 13th Democratic Primary you must update your voter registration by clicking here.
EARLY VOTING
AUGUST 24TH-SEPTEMBER 12TH
Rhode Island has early voting in place for anyone that is not able to vote on Election Day. For the September 13th Democratic Primary, early voting will take place at Providence City Hall from 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday beginning on August 24th and ending on September 12th.
